Our program addresses the whole person, based upon evaluations to determine the individual's specific needs and assists each person to maximize his or her abilities to live as independently as possible and enjoy a full and productive life.
We recognize that people with TBI may need considerable support to reach their recovery goals and re-gain control of their own lives in a constantly changing service delivery environment. To achieve this we employ staff who are committed both to on-going professional development and to working collaboratively with clients, ACC and other agencies

We provide a living, learning and working environment that is both safe and home-like.
Houses accommodating 3-4 people each are located close to transport and other services so that clients have access to community-based activities of their choice.
We encourage client involvement, participation and the taking of responsibility in the day to day running of the houses.
Tolerance and respect for privacy and confidentiality is promoted within this shared living environment.
Our team of skilled health professionals includes a neuropsychiatrist, nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist and speech language therapist. Together with competent support staff, they work collaboratively with clients and their families to develop individualized rehabilitation plans. These plans may include compensatory strategies applicable to everyday life situations familiar to each client.
Interventions may include physical, communication and language, cognitive, psychosocial/behavioural and vocational rehabilitation.
The structured program facilitates clients' opportunities to develop and practice skills necessary for everyday living and enjoyment of a good quality of life.
We value the vital role of family and friends and support and encourage their active involvement in client's daily life.

Referrals may be accepted from throughout New Zealand based ACC's criteria and recommendations from others who are involved in the client's active rehabilitation.
